What To Expect at Your Podiatry Appointment
We welcome new patients at our two clinic locations. Our initial consultation for all new patients in Brighton is up to 40 minutes, standard appointment times are 30 minutes.
In your first appointment we will go through a detailed assessment of your foot and ankle including an analysis of your gait if required. This will give us the information we need to create a tailored treatment plan for your pain. Treatments can include orthotics, nail surgery and shockwave therapy as well as exercises to do at home that are designed to speed up your recovery.
Must I have a referral from a general practitioner to make a podiatry appointment?
You can book an appointment with us directly without the need for a GP referral. We also offer treatment covered through the Department of Veterans’ Affairs (DVA), and the Chronic Disease Management Programme (CDMP) with a referral from your doctor. We do not bulk bill.
